Three Things that are God’s Will for Us

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18  Rejoice evermore.  (17)  Pray without ceasing.  (18)  In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

In these few verses, God shows us three things that are His will for our lives.

Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks.

Rejoicing evermore means “at all times”.

Praying without ceasing means “at all times”.

In everything give thanks means “at all times”.

This seems like an impossible task, but He is not suggesting we do these things every single second of the day.

But, I believe we can find something each day for which to rejoice, to pray, and to give thanks.

Let’s start today to look for at least one thing for which to do these things, and we’ll be surprised at how many other positive things we will start to notice as well.

We’ll also be surprised at how much more often we do these things because we’re building Godly habits.

What is at least one positive thing for which you can rejoice, pray, and give thanks today?

God bless you,
