There will be times in your life that God gives you a vision that is meant just for you. I’m not talking about some mysterious vision of the end times. We already have that information provided to us in God’s word. I’m talking about something God puts on your heart about you.
There will be others around, and you wonder why they do not hear it or see it for their own lives. They just live their lives from day to day and you realize they are not seeing or hearing what you are seeing and hearing.
The scriptures tell us of these kinds of things:
Isaiah 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. There will always be people who do not see what’s happening right in front of them (or why it keeps happening) nor will they hear what’s really being said to them. They only hear the words on the surface, but do not perceive the meaning of those words.
Daniel 10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. Not everyone will see what God is revealing to you.
John 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Again, they only hear the words on the surface, but do not perceive the meaning of those words. There will also be people who just try to explain things away because they do not want to understand.
Acts 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. Not everyone will see what God is showing you.
In all these instances, we see there were others present, but they did not hear, see, or understand what the individual was hearing, seeing, or understanding. There’ll be times God speaks to you about a vision for you.
Do as Mary did in Luke 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
These may be things God only wants you to know for now and He may not tell you how long it’ll be until they come to pass. As it was with Daniel in Daniel 12:8-9 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? (9) And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Whatever those things are that God shows to you, keep them and ponder them in your heart until God brings them to pass!
